Tyler Loop enters 2026 as a fringe top-12 fantasy kicker. Drafted in the sixth round of 2025, he secured the starting role for the Baltimore Ravens, providing reliable mid-tier value but notably lacking high-end volume and long-distance consistency. Loop was highly reliable inside 50 yards as a rookie, finishing with strong overall numbers (30-for-34 on field goals and 44-for-46 on extra points). He struggled from beyond 50 yards (1-for-4), which limited his ceiling and caused the coaching staff to hesitate on longer attempts. Loop averaged 8.5 fantasy points per game in his debut campaign. With a healthy quarterback Lamar Jackson, the Ravens' high-powered offense projects to provide more red-zone and field-goal opportunities. Loop is typically going just outside the top 12 (around 14th) in fantasy drafts. He is best viewed as a streaming option or a last-round draft selection (typically the very last pick of your draft).
Andy Borregales is a solid, top-12 streaming option for 2026 fantasy football. Entering his second year with the New England Patriots, he has secured the starting job and benefits from an improving offense that provides high extra-point and field-goal volume. As a rookie he was a solid 27-for-32 on Field Goals and 53-of-55 on Extra Points. The Patriots brought in zero competition for him, giving him a long leash to build on a successful rookie campaign. Because he plays for an offense heavily led by quarterback Drake Maye and bolstered by receiver AJ Brown, his extra-point volume remains highly reliable. If New England’s tougher 2026 schedule forces them to stall on drives, Borregales could see more 40+ yard field goal opportunities, raising his overall production. He's another kicker we would circle as a last-round target in fantasy should you decide to wait on drafting a kicker.
Charlie Smyth is a high-upside, late-round kicking option for 2026. Benefiting from the New Orleans Saints offense under head coach Kellen Moore, Smyth boasts a booming leg and plays 11 games indoors, making him a prime sleeper if he wins the starting job in training camp. Playing half his games in the climate-controlled Caesars Superdome gives Smyth a consistent kicking environment, boosting his accuracy and distance predictability. The Saints offense has shown promising development, which should reliably get Smyth into range for valuable 40+ and 50+ yard field goal attempts. Smyth has signed a multi-year deal, but he faces stiff competition during training camp from kickers like Mason Shipley and UFL standout Tanner Brown. We have him ranked as a borderline top-12 kicker, assuming he holds on to the primary kicking job. He should only be targeted in the final round of your draft.
Following an inconsistent rookie season where he struggled with long-range kicks and the Panthers' offense yielding few extra-point attempts, Ryan Fitzgerald's fantasy ceiling remains highly limited. He converted 24 of 29 field-goal attempts (2-of-5 from 50+ yards) and 27 of 30 extra points last season. We project him to hover around 103-111 fantasy points in 2026. The primary obstacle to Fitzgerald's fantasy value is the Carolina Panthers offense, which historically struggles to move the ball deep into opponent territory, limiting his volume of high-value kick opportunities. His low percentage of conversions on attempts from 50+ yards in his rookie year is also a concern as is his missed three extra points. Fitzgerald is not recommended to be drafted in standard 2026 fantasy football formats.
Harrison Mevis enters 2026 as the unquestioned starting kicker for the Los Angeles Rams. Tied to a potent offense under head coach Sean McVay, he offers a high weekly floor and strong scoring opportunities. After taking over midway through the 2025 season, Mevis was highly reliable, converting 12 of 13 regular-season field goals and 100% of his extra points. The Rams regularly move the ball into scoring range, which translates to consistent volume and PAT opportunities for kickers. His flawless postseason run (6-for-6 on field goals) cemented his position as the primary starter for the 2026 season. He is a valuable, low-risk draft selection. If your strategy is to target a kicker before the final round of your draft but do not want the invest the sort of capital it would take to draft a kicker like Brandon Aubrey, Mevis could be an excellent player to target.
