Sit or Start for Week 15
December 12, 2025 (Updated Every Thursday)
Risks...
Jayden Daniels vs Giants
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Per Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C., Quinn previously relayed that Daniels (left elbow) could have returned to Sunday's 31-0 loss to Vikings after exiting the contest, but it was a coach's decision to keep the signal-caller on the sideline. That said, Quinn indicated Monday that Daniels will be monitored ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants, with the QB's Week 15 status yet to be determined.
PATRICK MAHOMES vs Chargers
- The Chargers rank #2 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Mahomes was shut down almost completely by the Texans' vaunted defense on Sunday Night Football, a scene we have not seen much over the course of the signal-caller's illustrious career. All credit goes to Houston's defense, but Kansas City's role players didn't offer much relief. The Chiefs' receivers suffered six drops in the primetime loss, with notable guffaws coming in critical moments from stars Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce. Mahomes may have to pull out one of his Superman games against the Chargers in order to keep his team's bleak playoff hopes alive in Week 15.
Drake Maye vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. About the only blemish on Maye's final line was the three sacks he took from the Giants' highly aggressive front, as the second-year signal-caller otherwise was in command from start to finish. He helped stake the Patriots to a 30-7 halftime lead with three- and 33-yard touchdown passes to Kayshon Boutte and Kyle Williams, respectively. Maye didn't have to do much in the second half, but he still netted the third-most passing yards in a game of his career. Maye now has thrown for at least 270 yards in four consecutive contests heading into a Week 15 home showdown against the Bills on Sunday, Dec. 14 following a Week 14 bye.
DAK PRESCOTT vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Prescott lost CeeDee Lamb to a concussion early in the third quarter, but that didn't deter the standout signal-caller from a season-high yardage total on his way to his third straight 300-yard game. Game script also worked toward supporting a heavy-volume night for Prescott, whose number of pass attempts was his second highest of the season. Prescott connected with eight different targets overall, and Ryan Flournoy (42 yards) and Jake Ferguson were on the receiving end of his one touchdown pass and two-point conversion toss, respectively. Prescott and his teammates will continue their quest to eventually punch a postseason ticket in a Week 15 Sunday night home clash against the Vikings on Dec. 14.
Shedeur Sanders vs Bears
- Sanders' final line emphasizes the breakout quality of the rookie's performance, which was fueled by a 60-yard touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy, another pair of passing scores to David Njoku (one yard) and Harold Fannin (seven yards), and a seven-yard rush TD, with the latter two plays occurring in the fourth quarter. Head coach Kevin Stefanski opted to take the ball out of Sanders' hands during an attempt at a game-tying two-point conversion after the touchdown pass to Fannin, but it was otherwise another significant step in the right direction for the fifth-round pick. Sanders showed increasing command of the offense by spreading the ball around to eight different targets, and he'll next make a trip to Soldier Field to face off with the Bears next Sunday.
GENO SMITH vs Eagles
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Following the game, coach Pete Carroll said that Smith's shoulder "locked up" after he completed a pass late in the third quarter, which paved the way for Kenny Pickett to play the remainder of the contest. In terms of Smith's Week 15 status, Carroll noted that an early test revealed that the QB (who also sustained a cut on his right hand versus Denver) had avoided serious damage to his shoulder, while adding that he'll lean toward starting the veteran signal-caller Nov.14 against the Eagles, health permitting.
TYROD TAYLOR vs Jaguars
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Analyzing various factors very carefully, we do not expect him to post quality fantasy stats this week. Fields was inactive for Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins, and Taylor lasted only two series in the contest because of a groin injury before being replaced by rookie Brady Cook. In terms of the Jets' QB plans for a Week 15 game against the Jaguars, Glenn indicated Monday that the team will "have to see what guys are healthy enough to go out there and give us a chance to win." The team's signal-caller situation likely won't gain any clarity until at least Wednesday, when the Jets' next practice/injury report is posted.
Rewards...
Josh Allen vs Patriots
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. The Bills found themselves staring at a 21-11 deficit at halftime, but Allen once again put the team on his back in a comeback victory, with a 40-yard touchdown run in the snow midway through the fourth quarter being his biggest play -- the longest TD run in history by a Buffalo quarterback, breaking his own record. Allen has reached 12 rushing touchdowns for the third straight season while also producing a 22:10 TD:INT in 13 games, and he'll likely need to be sharp again in a huge AFC East showdown against the Patriots in Week 15.
Joe Burrow vs Ravens
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Burrow was victimized by a pair of line-of-scrimmage interceptions on back-to-back plays in the fourth quarter, which ultimately turned the tide of the game. The Bills' Christian Benford made a stellar leaping grab of an attempted screen pass on the first pick, while A.J. Epenesa got ahold of a deflected throw in the second instance. Otherwise, Burrow's second game back after a long layoff saw the 2020 first-round pick thrive despite snowy conditions, connecting on a season-high four touchdown passes to Tee Higgins (21, 25 yards), Chase Brown (10 yards ) and Mike Gesicki (12 yards). Burrow will next face off with the same Ravens squad he upended in his Thanksgiving Night return when Baltimore pays a visit for a Week 15 matchup next Sunday.
Jaxson Dart vs Commanders
- The Commanders rank #30 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Dart returned from a two-game absence after clearing the league's concussion protocol in order to reclaim his starting gig ahead of Monday's primetime tilt. The rookie signal-caller was understandably conservative from the pocket -- after already being checked for a possible concussion four times since the preseason -- finishing with the second-lowest passing yardage total through eight starts. The Ole Miss product also recorded his lowest carry total while failing to extend his rushing touchdown streak to six games. Dart has been a fantasy revelation in his first year as a pro, generating 1,893 yards from scrimmage with 18 touchdowns to five turnovers heading into the Giants' Week 14 bye. The dual-threat quarterback will look to build confidence in a favorable home matchup against the Commanders when play resumes on Sunday, Dec. 14.
Lamar Jackson vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Jackson has simply not looked like an MVP this year as the Ravens now sit at 6-7 and are in clear danger of missing the playoffs. He did add 43 yards and a score on the ground but he needs to be better as we move into the fantasy playoff run. Jackson will be a QB1 next week but not an elite option and his ADP and dynasty value are starting to show some cracks. For what it is worth, when he last played the Bengals, he passed for 246 and tossed 0 TD passes.(He also ran for 27 yards and scored on the ground as well.)
J.J. McCarthy vs Cowboys
- The Cowboys rank #32 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. And with that, there's hope. McCarthy was efficient in this one and while his yards per attempt are that of a game manager and the fact he simply cannot find Justin Jefferson is troublesome, McCarthy at least looked capable this week. He'll need to string together more good performances to avoid Minnesota looking for competition next season if it's not already too late. McCarthy's ADP plunge will at least pause for a week.
Risks...
De'Von Achane vs Steelers
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Achane underwent an MRI after sustaining a rib injury in Sunday's victory over the Jets. Although it was determined the running back is not dealing with a serious setback, head coach Mike McDaniel revealed that Achane "needs treatment," which could affect his practice participation this week. Miami will face Pittsburgh on Monday night in Week 15, so while that will afford Achane more rest, it will also likely delay the next official update on the running back's status until Thursday.
James Cook III vs Patriots
- The Patriots rank #2 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. The star running back had a little trouble holding onto the ball in snowy, cold conditions, committing two fumbles and losing one, but he reached 100 scrimmage yards for a fourth straight game and the sixth time in the last seven contests. Over that stretch, Cook has piled up 771 rushing yards and three TDs on the ground while adding a 17-178-1 line on 17 targets. He'll face a much tougher test in Week 15 against the Patriots' stingy run defense.
Jahmyr Gibbs vs Rams
- The Rams rank #3 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Gibbs certainly made the most of his 19 touches. One of the most efficient and deadly players this season, he just continues to put up monster performances. While his fantasy day could have actually been even better with more yards, his receiving prowess gives him an extraordinary floor. He'll be a top option for the playoffs every week and is a near untouchable dynasty asset.
ALVIN KAMARA vs Panthers
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Kamara was unable to practice in any capacity for a second consecutive week and will miss a second straight game due to a sprained MCL he sustained in New Orleans' Week 12 loss to the Falcons. Devin Neal is expected to lead the Saints backfield again after turning 17 touches into 69 total yards in this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. Kamara's next chance to take the field will come Sunday, Dec. 14 against the Panthers.
Kyle Monangai vs Browns
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we do not expect him to post quality fantasy stats this week. Monangai worked as the traditional lead back for Chicago during the first half, though his touches ultimately evened out with D'Andre Swift throughout the final two quarters. Monangai couldn't find much running room in the tough matchup, logging a long gain of only nine yards while averaging 4.1 yards per carry. While it wasn't his best showing, Monangai has clearly established a major role in the Chicago offense, having logged at least 12 carries in four consecutive contests.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. vs Commanders
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Tracy endured a hard hit in the fourth quarter and couldn't much weight on his left leg as he was assisted to the sideline. He then was carted to the locker room before the Giants deemed him questionable to return. That marked the end of Tracy's night, leaving him with 10 carries for 36 yards and one catch (on one target) for minus-3 yards. Meanwhile, fellow RB Devin Singletary had his most-productive outing of the season with 15 touches for 102 yards from scrimmage and one TD. New York has a Week 14 bye on tap, which may afford Tracy enough time to get back to 100 percent. In the end, though, both Tracy and Singletary have regular roles in the offense and likely need the other to cede snaps to truly provide consistent results on game days.
Rewards...
Bucky Irving vs Falcons
- The Falcons rank #30 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Irving had elevated expectations heading into the divisional matchup given some of the Saints' troubles defending the run this season, but New Orleans did a reasonably effective job while limiting him to a stingy 23 yards on the 14 carries he logged outside of his game-long 32-yard run. Irving did record his third receiving touchdown of the season on a 24-yard catch and run in the first quarter, helping to salvage his fantasy day. Irving's opportunities on the ground were somewhat capped due to a surprising game script that saw Tampa Bay trailing through more than half of the fourth quarter, but he'll have a good chance to bounce back in a Week 15 home matchup against a vulnerable Falcons run defense on Thursday night.
Christian McCaffrey vs Titans
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. The 21 receiving yards represented his lowest total of the season, while the 74 scrimmage yards were his worst production since Week 8 as the 49ers offense struggled in bad weather against a tough Cleveland front seven. McCaffrey salvaged his day with a one-yard TD plunge to open the scoring in the first quarter however, his eighth rushing score and 13th total touchdown in 13 games. McCaffrey will get a breather during next week's bye before taking on a more vulnerable Titans defense in Week 15.
Bijan Robinson vs Buccaneers
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. The third-year RB reached 1,000 rushing yards for the season on his first carry, but that might have been the high point of the day for the Atlanta offense. Robinson saw his streak of games with at least 100 scrimmage yards end at three, and through 13 contests he's produced 1,081 rushing yards and five TDs along with a 56-604-2 line on 70 targets. He'll look to get back to triple digits in yardage in a Week 15 tilt against Tampa Bay.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. vs Giants
- The Giants rank #32 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we do not expect him to post quality fantasy stats this week. As the game got away from the Commanders the rushing attack became less of a factor, hurting Rodriguez's volume despite his healthy 5.2 yards per carry. The third-year back also failed to get into the end zone for only the second time in the last seven games. Jayden Daniels' return from an elbow injury only lasted a little over three quarters Sunday, but Rodriguez has found ways to be productive with Marcus Mariota under center as well, and he might be able to exploit a soft Week 15 matchup against the Giants.
Jonathan Taylor vs Seahawks
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Taylor got off to a strong start, racking up 15 yards and a touchdown on four carries on the Colts' second drive. However, things went downhill from there, as Daniel Jones (Achilles) exited the game, allowing the Jaguars' defense to focus their entire attention on Taylor, and Taylor also lost a fumble early in the second quarter that led directly to a Jaguars' score. His efficiency had already suffered of late, and the state of the Colts' offense is a concern moving forward. Both factors dampen Taylor's fantasy outlook for the rest of the season, though his volume and ability to hit for long runs will still give him the chance to be a strong fantasy performer.
Risks...
Kayshon Boutte vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Boutte tied Hunter Henry for the team lead in receptions and brought in one of Drake Maye's two touchdown passes, recording a three-yard scoring grab with one minute remaining in the first quarter. Five of Boutte's six touchdowns on the campaign have come within the last six contests, although he's only totaled 50 receiving yards in the last three games. Boutte next takes aim at the Bills' talented secondary in a Week 15 home clash on Sunday, Dec. 14 following a Week 14 bye.
Hollywood Brown vs Chargers
- The Chargers rank #2 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Over his last four games, Brown has totaled 40, 10, 20, and 35 yards receiving, respectively, so unless your league awards major bonus points for posting yardage totals that are divisible by 5, the veteran isn't doing much for fantasy owners. Those in deeper leagues might see enough to carry him as WR5/WR6 roster depth, but in standard leagues he's better suited for the waiver wire.
Luther Burden III vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Burden led the Bears in targets and yards with Rome Odunze (foot) sidelined, while DJ Moore remained uninvolved. Burden was primarily targeted in short areas of the field, though he did get behind the Packers' defense for a 27-yard gain late in the fourth quarter as the Bears attempted to rally to tie the game. Burden's involvement in Chicago's offense has steadily crept up in recent weeks, as he now has at least five targets in four straight contests. He set his highest yardage total in that span with his performance Sunday, though Burden could continue to emerge in the final handful of remaining weeks of the regular season.
Derius Davis vs Chiefs
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Davis was injured while returning a punt in the first half. He's made only one catch this season but has been working as Los Angeles' top kick and punt returner. Hassan Haskins may be asked to take on return duties Monday if Davis can't return.
STEFON DIGGS vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Despite Drake Maye throwing for 282 yards on 24 completions, Diggs was once again a minor player in the air attack. The veteran wideout has 46 yards or fewer in five of his last six games, including back-to-back sub-30-yard tallies. Nevertheless, Diggs has the ability to resurface in a passing game that spreads the wealth around to different targets on a weekly basis, and such an instance could come in a Week 15 matchup against his old Bills teammates on Sunday, Dec. 14 following a Week 14 bye.
Greg Dortch vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Dortch thus will miss at least the next four games due to the chest injury that didn't allow him to practice at all during Week 14 prep, meaning his next possible chance to play this season is Week 18 at the Rams. With Marvin Harrison (heel) out for Sunday's game against the Rams and all of Dortch, Zay Jones (Achilles) and Simi Fehoko (wrist) on IR, Arizona's available wide receivers will be Michael Wilson, Andre Baccellia and practice-squad elevations Trent Sherfield and Jalen Brooks, while Xavier Weaver (hamstring) is questionable to suit up.
Ryan Flournoy vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Flournoy hadn't done much since his 6/114 game against the Jets earlier this year, so this was good to see. CeeDee Lamb exited the game with a concussion in the third quarter and Flournoy stepped up to lead the team with 13 targets as Dallas tried to come back. Flournoy's ultimate dynasty value lies in what Dallas does with George Pickens this off-season. If Pickens is back, his ceiling is capped. If he can somehow make his way to being the WR2 on the team, he'd make for an interesting asset. Regardless, Flournoy is simply a deep roster stash at the moment.
Chris Godwin Jr. vs Falcons
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Godwin continues to manage a fibula issue, but with no reported setbacks in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Saints, the wideout's listed limitations Monday were presumably maintenance-related. Added context regarding Godwin's status for Thursday night's game against the Falcons will arrive Tuesday, but at this stage there's no reason to believe that his Week 15 availability is in danger.
Marvin Harrison Jr. vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Harrison hasn't been practiced since injuring his heel in the second half of a Week 13 loss to Tampa Bay. It was his first game back from a two-week absence following an appendectomy, during which WR Michael Wilson caught 25 of 33 targets for 303 yards.
Tee Higgins vs Ravens
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Higgins missed Week 13 due to the brain injury, so it is a good bet he will be sidelined AT LEAST one week this time around as well. Considering the Bengals are already guaranteed to have a losing season and three games out of first place in the AFC North with four games left, there is a small chance we don't see Higgins again this season. Andrei Iosivas and Mitchell Tinsley should be expected to replace him in the interim and are worth rostering in deeper leagues.
MACK HOLLINS vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Hollins was able to secure multiple passes for the eighth straight game, but he's now gone nine contests in a row without reaching the end zone. The wide receiver is one of the many mouths to feed in a New England offense that loves to spread the ball around, with eight different players reeling in at least one pass in Week 13. Hollins has now caught 35 of 48 targets for 417 yards and two touchdowns over 13 games this year.
CeeDee Lamb vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). With added recovery time ahead of Week 15, Lamb is trending in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Vikings approaches. The star wideout's progress through the concussion protocol will begin to come into focus when the team's next official injury report is posted Wednesday.
Drake London vs Buccaneers
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). London hasn't played or practiced since suffering a PCL sprain during Week 11 action, with coach Raheem Morris continuing to refer to the wideout as "day-to-day" ahead of Thursday night's game against the Buccaneers. If London remains sidelined for the contest, Darnell Mooney, David Sills and Dylan Drummond would be in line to lead Atlanta's Week 15 WR corps.
DK Metcalf vs Dolphins
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Metcalf took a hard hit during Sunday's contest, per the report, and he was sent to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution" after "experiencing stomach pains" once he'd boarded the Steelers' team flight. Metcalf wound up staying overnight in Baltimore for observation, but he was cleared to fly back to Pittsburgh on Monday. It's unclear how the injury will affect the wideout's status for a Week 15 matchup with the Dolphins, but he will be afforded an extra day to rest and recover before the Monday nighter.
Rome Odunze vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. The report suggests Odunze should return at some point in December, with the expectation being that rest will help (he didn't practice at all this week) .The stress fracture helps explain his drastic downturn in production after a fast start to the season, though other factors contributed there as well. In Odunze's absence, the Bears figure to deploy DJ Moore, Luther Burden and Olamide Zaccheaus as their top three WRs against the Packers.
Joshua Palmer vs Patriots
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). After logging three consecutive 'DNP' listings this week, Palmer -- who was inactive in Week 13 -- was deemed questionable for Sunday's contest. In his continued absence, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Gabe Davis, Tyrell Shavers and Brandin Cooks will handle Buffalo's WR duties versus Cincinnati.
George Pickens vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. It was a largely forgettable night for Pickens, who somehow finished with his lowest yardage total since Week 1 on a night when Dak Prescott threw for a season-high 376 yards on 47 pass attempts and CeeDee Lamb left the game early in the second half due to a concussion. Pickens did reach the five-catch threshold for the sixth straight game, but he also had a ball bounce off his hands on the first play of the second half that resulted in a Lions interception. Pickens also appeared have a chance to come down with a deep throw from Prescott just before the two-minute warning but never appeared to make an attempt to catch the ball, and he'd been flagged for a facemask penalty earlier in the contest as well to wipe out a reception. Naturally, the good has far outweighed the bad when it comes to Pickens' debut Cowboys campaign, but he'll need to bounce back in a Week 15 home matchup against the Vikings on Sunday night, Dec. 14, especially if Lamb remains out.
Alec Pierce vs Seahawks
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). NFL players are not allowed to talk to reporters after the game if in the concussion protocol, so a concussion can be ruled out at this point. It sounds like a minor injury, but check his status in practice early in the week. Pierce recorded five receptions on eight targets for 80 yards in the loss.
Dontayvion Wicks vs Broncos
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Wicks was not listed on Green Bay's final injury report for Week 14, but he played only six snaps due to the ankle injury that slowed him last week as well. The Packers are as healthy at the wide receiver position as they have been in a while, so even when back at 100 percent, it will be tough for Wicks to come anywhere close to replicating the 94 yards and two scores he racked up against the Lions in Week 13.
Xavier Worthy vs Chargers
- The Chargers rank #2 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Worthy finished as the Chiefs' leading receiver despite ranking third in targets behind TE Travis Kelce and WR Rashee Rice. The 22-year-old Worthy was the only starter to generate any kind of a downfield threat against Houston's stout defense. The versatile wideout did not record a rushing attempt for the third time over his last four appearances. He has, however, eclipsed 50 receiving yards in three consecutive contests, providing a solid floor for fantasy managers in deeper formats. Worthy's upside lies in his ability to rip off huge gains, and the same could be said for next Sunday's tilt against the Chargers.
Rewards...
DAVANTE ADAMS vs Lions
- The Lions rank #28 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Adams suffered his worst fantasy output of the season in Week 14 as the Cardinals keyed in defensively on the touchdown machine. The 32-year-old's scoring streak of six games (featuring 11 touchdowns) finally came to end after QB Matthew Stafford spread the wealth to Los Angeles' other receiving options Sunday. Co-starter Puka Nacua shined with a 7-167-2 receiving line, leaving little work for Adams in the second half of the lopsided blowout. Adams will look to get back to his scoring ways when the Rams host the Lions for a potential offensive showdown in Week 15.
Jordan Addison vs Cowboys
- The Cowboys rank #32 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. With J.J. McCarthy back under center for the Vikings, Addison led the team in catches, targets and receiving yards, although all three of the QB's passing touchdowns went to tight ends instead of wideouts. Addison's yardage total was his highest since Week 7, and if McCarthy can stay healthy and gain confidence down the stretch, it would be good news for the team's entire passing attack. Addison could be positioned for a ceiling game in Week 15 against a vulnerable Cowboys defense.
Rashod Bateman vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Bateman, who missed two weeks with an ankle injury, was more involved Sunday than he was in his Week 13 return, and his snap count jumped from 44 to 69. It didn't translate to a major jump in usage though, as he still drew just three targets. His one target that went incomplete was a crucial third down in the red zone that ended a drive and forced Baltimore to settle for a field goal. Bateman's production has fallen off sharply from his career year in 2024 when he had 45 catches for 756 yards and nine touchdowns. Through 11 games, Bateman has 18 catches on 36 targets for 217 yards and two touchdowns. The Ravens offense as a whole has struggled relative to 2024, in large part due to Lamar Jackson being at less than 100 percent in recent weeks.
Ja'Marr Chase vs Ravens
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Chase took a back seat to the returning Tee Higgins on the afternoon, with the Bills' attention on the former paying off nicely for the latter. Chase's receiving yardage total was his second sub-50-yard tally in the last three games, but the elite wideout hasn't seen fewer than eight targets since Week 3. Chase will aim to bounce back in a Week 15 home rematch with a Ravens team he posted a 7-110-0 line against in a Thanksgiving Night win.
Matthew Golden vs Broncos
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Golden played only five snaps in Week 14 after missing a pair of contests with a wrist issue, and although his snap count may have taken a hit regardless with Jayden Reed returning, the lack of playing time was at least partly due to his injury. Golden could be more involved in Week 15 if he is able to shed his injury tag by Friday, but even still, his role will likely remain limited with all of Reed, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs healthy and ahead of him on the depth chart.
DEANDRE HOPKINS vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Hopkins has not been targeted more than four times in any game this season and has posted at least 40 yards in only two games. He could see a handful of targets in Week 15 but can be avoided in fantasy leagues unless he posts better numbers in the next game or two. For what it is worth, when he last played the Bengals, he racked up 25 receiving caught 0 TD passes.
COOPER KUPP vs Colts
- The Colts rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. For the first time since Rashid Shaheed joined Seattle, he played a big part on offense with a 4-67-0 line on five targets. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba (7-92-2 on 10 targets) also putting up his usual substantial production, that left just three targets for Kupp. The good news for Kupp's fantasy managers is that one of the veteran wideout's two catches was an 11-yard TD early in the fourth quarter. With that being said, Kupp has now caught three or fewer passes seven straight games, and with Shaheed potentially trending up in terms of involvement, Kupp figures to continue to be a risky weekly fantasy play.
Ladd McConkey vs Chiefs
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. The entire Los Angeles passing attack struggled to do much of anything as Justin Herbert was pressured on close to 60 percent of his dropbacks. It's at least encouraging the second-year standout led the team in targets, but similar issues could be present in Arrowhead the following week as Los Angeles takes on a Kansas City team trying to keep its playoff hopes alive.
Puka Nacua vs Lions
- The Lions rank #28 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Nacua absolutely went off against the Cardinals' secondary Sunday, averaging a whopping 23.9 yards per reception in the one-sided victory. The BYU product fell just short of the high-water mark of 170 yards he posted back in Week 4, but he still finished with his highest fantasy score to date in 2025 after producing his first multi-score game of the season. Nacua has taken a backseat to co-star WR Davante Adams (4-29-0) at times, but the inverse was true in Week 14. The 24-year-old Nacua just matched his previous career high of six touchdown receptions from his standout rookie campaign, and he currently sits seven catches shy of a second 100-reception season. Fantasy managers should continue to roll out Nacua with confidence for next Sunday's potential shootout against the Lions.
Jalen Nailor vs Cowboys
- The Cowboys rank #32 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Nailor didn't have a reception and just one target each game the prior two weeks amid Minnesota's struggles through the air. With J.J. McCarthy showing signs of being a credible passer in the win, Nailor could get back to seeing 3-5 targets a game like earlier in the season. However, he's prone to low-output games when the offense struggles, considering Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson draw the bulk of the targets.
Rashid Shaheed vs Colts
- The Colts rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. It was a slow scoring affair in the first half, but Shaheed turned Sunday's game on its head with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half. Week 14 was his best performance as a Seahawk, as he finished second in catches, targets and receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba (seven catches on 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns). Through 14 regular-season games (nine with the Saints and five with the Seahawks), Shaheed has accumulated 52 catches (on 82 targets) for 603 yards and two touchdowns
Darius Slayton vs Commanders
- The Commanders rank #30 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Slayton wound up being the beneficiary of Jaxson Dart's (concussion) only touchdown strike in the rookie signal-caller's return to action Monday night. The 28-year-old Slayton finished well behind fellow starter Wan'Dale Robinson and TE Theo Johnson in terms of targets (eight apiece), so fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to the former's first trip to the end zone in 2025. The Giants will be on a bye in Week 14, with Slayton profiling as only a deep-league option in fantasy when the team resumes play on Dec. 14.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba vs Colts
- The Colts rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. After not being needed in last week's rout of the Vikings, Smith-Njigba was a bigger part of the game plan this time around, hauling in a 28-yard TD from Sam Darnold in the third quarter and a four-yard score in the fourth as the Seahawks pulled away in the second half. JSN has fallen off his 2,000-yard pace over the last couple weeks, but he still leads the NFL by a wide margin with 1,428 yards through 13 games, to go along with 89 catches and nine touchdowns. The third-year wideout will look for another big performance in Week 15 against the Colts.
Risks...
HUNTER HENRY vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Henry co-led the Patriots in receptions while setting the pace in receiving yards and targets on the night. The veteran tight end also tied with running back Rhamondre Stevenson for the longest reception of the night (36 yards), and Henry now has 187 receiving yards and a touchdown on 11 catches over the last two games. Henry has flashed excellent chemistry with Drake Maye throughout the season, and the duo should remain busy in a Week 15 home showdown against the Bills on Sunday, Dec. 14 following a Week 14 bye.
TRAVIS KELCE vs Chargers
- The Chargers rank #2 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Kelce was completely eliminated from Sunday's game plan, as he was held by Houston's dominant secondary to a season-low one reception. The Chiefs committed six drops altogether on Sunday Night Football, but none stood out more than the star tight end's late bobble that landed safely in the hands of the defense on his team's second-to-last possession. Kelce has provided fantasy managers with consistent weekly production outside of Sunday's dud, so a bounce-back outing could be in order against the Chargers next Sunday.
Cole Kmet vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Kmet was able to reel in multiple passes for the second straight game and third time in the last four contests overall. His 42 receiving yards were second on the team behind Luther Burden (67), while fellow tight end Colston Loveland posted a 4-29-1 line. Kmet will look to build off of his recent momentum when the Bears host the Browns in Week 15.
Michael Mayer vs Eagles
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Mayer hasn't been able to practice since he sustained an ankle injury Week 12 against the Browns, and while he'll be absent for a second consecutive contest Sunday, coach Pete Carroll expressed optimism that the third-year pro will be able to return Week 15 at Philadelphia on Sunday, Dec. 14, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. With Mayer sidelined again, Ian Thomas and Carter Runyon will take on the TE reps that don't go to top option Brock Bowers.
Trey McBride vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. McBride was held in check -- by his own lofty standards -- in a matchup against a tough defense Sunday. The 25-year-old still finished with decent receiving numbers and extended his streak of catching at least five passes in every game this season. McBride continues to operate as one of the top fantasy tight ends in football, producing a 93-937-8 receiving line through 13 starts. The Texans present another tough matchup on paper next Sunday, but McBride's talent overrides any potential downgrade for Week 15.
Cade Otton vs Falcons
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). The Buccaneers held a walk-through practice Monday, so a more accurate read on Otton's chances of playing Thursday night against the Falcons should arrive via Tuesday's practice report. Over his last three games, the tight end -- who has yet to score a TD this season -- has averaged three catches, while compiling a total of 49 yards in that span.
Kyle Pitts Sr. vs Buccaneers
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Pitts recorded a 92 percent snap share in Sunday's 37-9 loss to the Seahawks, a game in which the tight end caught six of his 10 targets for a team-high 90 yards. Chances are, Pitts' listed limitations Monday were maintenance-related, with added context on that front set to arrive via Tuesday's injury report.
Darnell Washington vs Dolphins
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Washington, who caught his only target in the contest for 12 yards, will thus target a potential return to action Dec. 15 against the Dolphins. Jonnu Smith, Pat Freiermuth and Connor Heyward are left to handle Pittsburgh's TE duties for the remainder of Week 14 action.
Rewards...
MARK ANDREWS vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Fresh off a three-year extension, Andrews finished third on the team in targets behind Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely. However, he was unable to turn that into much production and was held under 10 yards for the second time in the last three weeks. Andrews should bounce back thanks to his involvement in the Baltimore offense, though Isaiah Likely has been the more productive tight end on the roster in the last two contests. For what it is worth, when he last played the Bengals, he racked up 47 receiving caught 0 TD passes.
AJ Barner vs Colts
- The Colts rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Barner followed up Wednesday's limited session with all activity one day later, clearing him to continue serving as the Seahawks' No. 1 tight end. In such a role, he's put together a respectable 37-359-4 line on 46 targets in 12 games to date.
Brock Bowers vs Eagles
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Bowers made a quick impact in the game, with his first catch going for a 15-yard score on the final play of the first quarter. That matched his longest gain of the game, and though his performance was muted for most of the remainder of the contest, Bowers ultimately finished second on the team in targets, receptions and yards. He will likely remain plagued by poor quarterback play for the rest of the season, though he has still managed six touchdowns in his last six matchups.
T.J. Hockenson vs Cowboys
- The Cowboys rank #32 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. While the veteran tight end didn't see much volume, Hockenson did haul in his first TD since Week 9 and third of the season on a two-yard toss from J.J. McCarthy in the fourth quarter. All three of McCarthy's career-high three touchdowns went to TEs, an encouraging sign for Hockenson in what has been a tough season overall. He'll look to reach 60 receiving yards for the first time in 2025 in a Week 15 clash with the Cowboys.
GEORGE KITTLE vs Titans
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. The veteran tight end led the Niners in receiving yards and tied Jauan Jennings for the team lead in catches on a day in which passing was difficult due to high winds in Cleveland. Kittle has caught at least four passes in six straight games, racking up a 33-371-4 line on 39 targets during that stretch. He'll get a breather during San Francisco's bye next week before taking on Tennessee in Week 15.
Colby Parkinson vs Lions
- The Lions rank #28 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Parkinson finished third among Los Angeles pass catchers in targets and trailed only Puka Nacua, who dominated with a 7-167-2 line, in receiving yardage. Since Tyler Higbee (ankle) landed on IR ahead of Week 12, Parkinson has emerged as the Rams' top tight end with 11 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns over three games. Pushing that out further, Parkinson has tallied four scores over his past five contests, making him an intriguing -- though somewhat TD-dependent -- fantasy option at a relatively shallow position.
Tyler Warren vs Seahawks
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Warren maintained a solid role in the Colts' offense, finishing third on the team with six targets. However, he struggled to get on the same page with Riley Leonard, converting only one of his five targets into a catch, which went for only two yards. While that could change for the better moving forward, Warren's outlook has worsened due to Daniel Jones (Achilles) being out for the rest of the season.
Risks...
YOUNGHOE KOO vs Commanders
- Koo was called upon to attempt a 46-yard field goal in the second quarter, but he stubbed his foot into the ground before making the contact with the ball, leaving holder Jamie Gillian out to dry on a play that went into the box score as a 13-yard loss rather than a FG try. That botched play was emblematic of the Giants performance as a whole in a game during which they were never competitive, and perhaps of the team's season as a whole, as New York has dealt with inexplicable mistakes and collapses multiple times en route to a 2-11 record. As for Koo, he's ironically still perfect on FG attempts since joining the Giants -- at least in official recordkeeping -- as he's gone 4-for-4 in that category along with 8-for-9 on PATs.
EDDY PIÑEIRO vs Titans
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Pineiro has missed the last two contests with a hamstring injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the team "should" get the kicker back after their bye week. Pineiro has gone a perfect 22-for-22 on field-goal attempts, including six makes from 50-plus yards, over 10 contests with San Francisco this season.
Chad Ryland vs Texans
- Ryland was able to connect on a 38-yard field goal in the second quarter before later missing a 63-yard try wide right as time expired in the first half. The kicker has now missed at least one field-goal attempt in four consecutive contests, though you can't blame necessarily fault him for Sunday's miss. Ryland has gone 4-for-8 on field-goal tries, including 1-for-3 from 50-plus yards, over the last four games, however, don't look for him to get back on track in Week 15 against the Texans. The Texans defense has allowed the fewest fantasy points to kickers.
Rewards...
BRANDON AUBREY vs Vikings
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Aubrey kept the Cowboys close for most of the game with his big leg. Among his field-goal makes were a 57-yarder in the first quarter, a 55-yarder in the second and a 63-yarder in the third. He now has six career field goals of 60-plus yards, the most in NFL history. Aubrey is 27-for-29 on FG tries and 28-of-29 on PATs this season.
Jake Bates vs Rams
- The kicker had a 52-yard field-goal try blocked in the third quarter, but other than that, he made the most of his opportunities, connecting on field goals from 38, 47 and 46 yards, respectively. Bates is now 19-of-24 on field-goal tries and 45-of-47 on extra-point attempts for the year, with all five field-goal misses coming from 40 yards or longer. The second-year pro is often limited in his field-goal opportunities by his coach's desire to go for it, but on this night, he got more than usual.
Cameron Dicker vs Chiefs
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Dicker was unable to make multiple field goals for the first time since Week 7, but he did make the most of his only attempt, converting a 56-yarder in the fourth quarter. The kicker has now gone 26-for-28 on field-goal tries, including 5-for-6 from 50-plus yards, while also making all 27 of his extra-point attempts over 12 games this year.
Evan McPherson vs Ravens
- The kicker did not attempt a field goal in the loss. McPherson has connected on a combined six field goals and six extra points in the two weeks since Joe Burrow returned to the Bengals' lineup as the team's starting quarterback, and he should continue to get opportunities as long as Burrow is leading the offense. He should bounce back this week as he faces a Ravens defense that ranks 31st against kickers.
Risks...
Denver Broncos vs Packers
- The Packers offense has allowed the 3rd fewest fantasy points to D/STs and Jordan Love has been white hot during Toyotathon.
Detroit Lions vs Rams
- The Lions face a Rams offense and former QB, Matthew Stafford who have allowed the 6th fewest fantasy points to D/STs.
Los Angeles Rams vs Lions
- While the Rams fantasy defense ranks 3rd in scoring, the Lions offense has allowed the fewest fantasy points to D/STs
Rewards...
San Francisco 49ers vs Titans
- The 49ers play a Titans offense that has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to D/STs.
Chicago Bears vs Browns
- The Bears play a Browns offense that has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to D/STs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Falcons
- The Falcons offense isn't really clicking, so the Bucs defense may be able to take advantage of Cousins and his propensity to turn the ball over lately.
Dallas Cowboys vs Vikings
- While the Cowboys don't have a fantasy D/ST to write home about, they face a Vikings offense that has allowed the most fantasy points to D/STs.
Seattle Seahawks vs Colts
- While the Colts offense has allowed the 2nd fewest fantasy points to D/STs, the Seahawks fantasy D/ST ranks 1st. With Daniel Jones out and the Colts QB situation in doubt, the Seahawks should be a solid play in your lineup this week.
