Tyler Bass accounts for four points in Week 18 lossTyler Bass made 1-of-1 field goal attempts and 1-of-2 extra points in the Bills 23-16 loss to the Patriots. Bass made a 49-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter. He will end his regular season with a 82.8% success rate on field goal attempts and a 92.2% success rate on extra point attempts.

Chad Ryland re-signed on a one-year deal and officially claimed the top spot after Arizona waived Joshua Karty, locking him in as the undisputed starter. Ryland had an up-and-down 2025 season, making 25 of 33 field-goal attempts (75.8%) and converting all 36 of his extra-point tries. It's hard to trust him in fantasy given his sub-80% success rate on FGs and given the multiple questions about the quality of the Cardinals' offense headed into the season. Our mantra is to avoid drafting a kicker for fantasy unless you feel pretty confident that the kicker will be a top 10 option, and we just don't see that with Ryland (whom we see more as a borderline top-15 to K18 fantasy option in standard formats). Our best advice is to leave him on the waiver-wire and treat him as a possible streamer in 12-team leagues depending on weekly match-ups.
Matt Gay struggled heavily during the 2025 season (getting cut by both the Commanders and the 49ers) before securing his spot in Vegas. With a new coaching staff and rookie QB the Raiders are likely to have offensive growing pains. That equates to fewer high-value, goal-line scoring opportunities and red-zone field goals. That's why we currently rank Gay outside the top 25 kickers in most formats.
Competing for the starting kicker job with the New York Jets, Cade York's path to consistent volume is murky, and he is currently dealing with an early-offseason groin injury. York is battling for the primary placekicker role against Lenny Krieg (and previously dealt with a veteran camp body in Younghoe Koo). Over his NFL career, York has hit 33 of 45 field goal attempts (73.3%) and 51 of 54 extra points. We see York as a volatile streaming option and should largely be avoided in standard 2026 fantasy drafts.
Zane Gonzalez signed a one-year contract with Miami in March, directly filling the void left by the release of Jason Sanders. He is battling Riley Patterson for primary kicking duties. Gonzalez had a highly efficient nine-game stint with the Atlanta Falcons, making 19 of 22 field goals (86.3%) and 17 of 18 extra points. The issue in Miami will be opportunity because the Dolphins are projected to struggle offensively. Gonzalez is not recommended as a primary draft target even if he wins the starting role.
