Payton Turner Payton Turner selected No. 28 by New Orleans SaintsThe New Orleans Saints have selected Payton Turner with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Fantasy ImpactThere were rumblings throughout the day that the Saints were calling about possibly moving up in the draft for a cornerback. Instead, they stay at their original No. 28 pick and an edge rusher in Turner. He has good size and athleticism but will need to improve his pass rushing at the next level.
